Posted by RPF in Kansas The small town of Chanute, Kansas where we went to there fiesta is really a big party town but they don't have events very offen but when they do, Chanute can party with the best of them The wife and I are invited to a wedding there in November where very good friends of ours daughter is getting married. Yea your right, there is not alot of activity here on the message board. But I just wanted to share that there is alot of Tejano events here in Kansas. You say you live in New York State? Is there alot of Tejano events in your area? Here in Kansas we have accordion players, bajo sexto players, singers, etc. And here in Topeka, Kansas which is the capitol city of Kansas we have two Tejano bands, about 3 Norteno/Banda bands. Kansas City has two Tejano bands and more Norteno/Banda bands. Wichita sorry to say does not have a Tejano band.
