This is Old School Stuff. When I was in the service in the late 60's, me and a few friends would go to El Rancho Club on Somerset Road. I was in the Army at the time and us guys were just looking to have a good time. We all liked Tejano Music.
Anyway it was on Somerset Road and I beleive Iroquois Street. It had a tree growing inside the club and they would have maybe 5 bands playing at different times.
Sure did like that place and had alot of fun there too. I'm sure it's gone and when the wife and I go to visit San Antonio I always forget to look it up.
Anyway, just thought I would share some real "Old School" stuff.
Oh yea! I forgot, we use to go to Las Vegas Super Night Club on South Flores and had a good time there too. San Antonio was and still is a party town and I really enjoy when we take vacations there.
