When I was a young man listening and learning from the great masters like Dizzy Gillespie, Louie "Satchmo" armstrong, Clifford Brown, Al Hirt, Pepe Compean, Rafael Mendez and all those bad cats.......I would have never had the thought of asking them to leave and make room for some young aspiring artist. In the first place these men that I have just mentioned were masters of their intruments to their dying day. New aspiring bands, singers, musicians, have to pay their dues like we all have and they can only become household names by proving that they can hang with the best. How in the world are you going to ask Little Joe, Paulino Bernal, Carlos Gusman, Sunny Ozuna, Ruben ramos, Bobby Butler, Hey guys go ahead and retire!...........these new bands can't make it!
because you're still hanging around and performing............if that's the case then something is really wrong with the new acts if they can't make it on their own. They need to rethink about what they're doing or change professions or make an effort to make it happen for themselves.
It will be a sad day when the afore-mentioned artists can't perform anymore because they are not only trendsetters they are still loved by their enormous fanbase and are still at the top of their game.
