Posted by reydlc I never liked the older versions of "El Hijo de Su" but Little Joe's version rocks. So does the instrumental and vocal versions of "El Baile Mi Fui." This CD travels through time in the styles of music. I am very impressed. I love the way that some of the songs lead into the next one, just like in "Timeless." Again thanks Little Joe and Bob Gallarza for this awesome CD!

Little Joe out did himself! I have 5 nephews that went out and purchased this CD. It was their first real taste of La Onda Chicana in their time. The tribute paid to Isidro is awesome! This is the kind of music that we need. The "Just Because/Wasted Days/Tres Ramitas" melody is pure belly rubbing music. None of that hopping and jumping of today's cumbias. I personally don't care about the selection of songs and neither did my nephews, it's just darn good happy dancing music.
