Posted by reydlc3 Agustine is using a full orchesta on this CD. He has trumpets, saxophones, and keyboards. For the most part, his CD is really good. Songs that stand out to me are - Tres Ramitas, A Media de la Noche, El Hijo Desobediente and Preso Sin Delito. Leo Saenz does some trumpet work on a cumbia named Maria Isabel. Gutis voice and guitar playing are strong. Man, did Bob Gallarza give Johnny Bustamante and the LA Boys a work out on this CD. I am a fan of Bustamantes music but when I saw Gallarzas name attached to the CD, it was a must buy for me. The bands format is conjunto with keys. The CD starts out with a song named De Que Es Tu Corazon. The song will give dancers a work out. It has a lot of energy. All the conjunto songs are excellent. As a personal choice I dont really like cumbias all that much. I dont know how the LA Boys sounded on their last CD but Gallarza gave the Boys a pair of steel b*lls as far as musicianship on this CD. Johnnys vocal range was impressive. Two thumbs up for Guti, Johnny Bustamante, and Bob Gallarza on some killer music. I would love for Gallarza to team up with Guti and remake his older hits like Paloma Dejame Ir.

I recently purchased The Legendary Agustine Ramirez Vol. 3 and A New Beginning by Johnny Bustamante. Bob Gallarza co-produced Bustamantes CD. Speaking as a fan of good music, I will give you cats my opinion.
