Heya gal! *hugs* Good to hear from you. Chris is doing okay last I heard. He's only been in NC for about a week now and I don't have a number to get in touch with him, but I'd bet that as soon as he can, he'll stop by the message board and have a look or at the very least check his email at dragonmastermerlin@yahoo.com . He's supposed to be staying with his Dad in NC. His mom said that he was only going to be allowed to stay there for 2 weeks and I'm not really sure what he's going to do after that. I talked to him about joining up with Job Corps, but he never did so much as call to find out anything. I love that kid to death and a big part of me really wants to help him out, but he's going to be 22 in March and it's time for him to sink or swim on his own. I'm really glad that both of his parents have finally gotten their heads outta their asses and tried to help him, but as the saying goes, you can't help those who won't help themselves. Keep Chris in your thoughts and whatever sort of prayers you do. He sure as shit needs it! I'll get back to ya' soon as I hear something from him, but it may be awhile. One note though...he's only about 25 or 30 miles away from my mom so he's not really out there on his own with just his dad. He's also got an uncle and a grandfather in NC, plus whatever friends he's made contact with from school since he's been there. Hopefully, he'll be able to make a go of it. I know my fingers are crossed.
