Posted by Aimee You won't find a lot of foals that are considered PMU now...don't get me wrong there are a lot of X PMU mares dropping foals...however, you'd most likely have to contact specific orgs for those. Most of the farmers I believe have gotten rid of the mares that they didn't want. However, Jan Turnball of Foalquest (if she's still involved in this) is a good person to contact. She will most likely have a lot of info for you. Have you ever considered an orphan foal? www.orphanfoal.org gets a supply of these cuties in every year. Breeds are all different and I"ve seen some beauties on their web page. Check them out if you think that might be an option. Other than that-hit the auction houses come Sept. - Dec. as you will find a lot of foals PMU or otherwise. Good Luck,
