have wet mare - need foal - Finger Lakes NY area

Our mare foaled 5/14/06, earlier than expected. The filly's leg was broken, she was put down 5/15/06. Does anyone know where I can find a foal that needs our mare's help? I'd be willing to adopt. Maybe that would stop my mare from crying and me too.
