Although several of the mares look thin, I hardly think they are starving to death...they just foaled and the spring grass is not here yet.
They are not ribby, just hollow in the hips from foaling.
Most of the mares look perfectly healthy...there is one Appy that looks thin and one Grey perch X.
I also see hay in the photos and the other mares out in pasture are all eating a long line of grain that has been set out for them...so I think that accusations of them not being fed are a little over board.
