Posted by Anchor I'm thinking of taking up said instrument, and obviously planning on playing Irish music with it. Admittedly, I know very little about accordions, having been a woodwind player most of my life. Have any sage words of advice for a floundering newbie, O exalted Siobhan accordionist-man? And because I'm an idiot...On the little window-tabs down at the bottom of the screen, the Siobhan Message Board reads "The Siobhan Mess..."

This question is mainly aimed at Dave, as he is the accordion player, unless any of the other members of Siobhan have taken up the accordion recently.
