It's a shame they're going this route with the character. He seemed pretty old school and without a lot of angst and grim and gritty going on. Ressurrections tend to layer characters with plenty of that so it's a shame if it goes through. If you're going to radically rework an old character so he's no longer the same (hello, penance!) why not instead just create a new character?
