Double on the avon

Hi i am a member of christchurch angling club and have been trying to catch pike off the Avon, i have had 20 so far but the biggest is 9lb and i just cant seem to catch a double. I am trotting dead baits down the river and moving around quite a bit.
Is their any areas worth trying? What am i doing wrong? How can i lcatye areas holding those bigger pike
