If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.....Having travelled great distances on numerous occasions to fish the R Thurne, I find it very difficult to understand how anyone manages to catch pike on the Thurne at this time of year with the water clarity being so poor. Is this always the case and is there any hope for someone wishing to tackle this infamous water with lures, particularly surface variants?
