Ever Since I was a kid (too long ago now, don,t ask!) I have wanted to pike fish the Upper Thurne system, I have now booked (for mid February) a cottage near Martham which backs onto the river, can anyone give me some info? should I hire a boat and if so fish where?, should I deadbait from the bank at Martham, if so is it eel section, mackeral, herring,sprat?, Should I lure fish? any help wanted, thanks lads
