Posted by Darren THanks for letting me know. I have tried the Thames since the season began. I fished a few of the locks and wiers from Pentney Hook right up to Benson lock nr Oxford. So far had pike up to 15lb and even chub up to 5lb on spinnerbaits and lures. Have enjoyed it so much that I have just purchased a small 10ft bass boat and outboard so I can get to the places that other anglers cant reach!!. Tip for the Carp Anglers... We witnessed a 30lb Common carp (beautiful fish - in perfect condition) being caught at Benson Lock. Thanks Darren --Previous Message--
