I need to know a little more about Zander fishing. I was recently in Poland and they said the river have Zander in them. I am a fly fisherman and would like to know if they come to the surface for bugs or are they strictly subsurface feeders? Saw a lot of splashes along the shore and was wondering if I should take my rod there next time.
