Hiya Matey - Couldn't tell if you were fishing the river Thurne or on the River Yare at Brundall? Norfolk and in particular Broadland is choca block with good Bream - plenty of roach and loads of fantastic Pike. For the Bream - Ledgering is best with conventional swimfeeders producing the goods and for the Pike either lures or deadbaits. As the waters are a protected national park - Livebaiting is not advisable and is frankly un-nescessary. October and November are great months on the Broads. Last week produced 2 6-7lb Pike and 2 20lb fish in under 4 hours - so plenty of action for the lure fisherman here. Anyway - Tight Lines and if there is anything else that I can do - please don't hesitate to contact me.
