Sooooo... How was your Halloween...?
Between 7pm and 9pm...
We had about 30 to 40 candy craving "visitors"...
All VERY Polite (Thank-You's everytime!)...
None of them age-inappropriate...
And, for the most part...
All in "costume"!
Gotta hand it to the one young fella...
Layered warmly with a parka over his Old Navy Hoodie...
Who, when asked what he was dressed as, said...
-- "I'm a Gangster!"
(Held me up for three fun-sized bars and a bag of cheezies!)
Cutest costumes of the night...?
A couple of toddlers...
Both in Head-to-Toe outfits...
-- The one was a Dolphin.
-- The other was a Tiger.
Most enterprising couple...?
The Last Trick-or-Treaters to arrive were...
A pair of young parents.
Mom (a witch) was carrying the wee-one...
(Old enough for Treats but too young for the Hectic Halloween Pace)...
And, as she stood at the foot of the steps...
Dad came to the door...
Wearing dark glasses and a MIB Business suit...
Face "melting off" with a mixture of dried baking-powder mush...
And...
Carrying a briefcase with the "Radioactive" symbol on it.
As he opened the briefcase...
I stood back (hoping not to become "contaminated")...
And tossed snacks into it!
Shortly after they left...
The fireworks display from the community centre down the road...
Heralded an "Official", End of The Evening.
We had a perfect view through our living room window!
So, even though my Pumpkin-Carving didn't turn out quite as good as I had hoped for...
All in all, I'd have to say... It was a darned good Halloween!
