SIR JOSIAH STAMP, (President of the Bank of England in the 1920's, the second richest man in Britain)
"Banking was conceived in iniquity, and was born in sin. The Bankers own the Earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits, and with the flick of the pen, they will create enough deposits, to buy it back again. However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine will disappear, and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But if you wish to remain the slaves of Bankers, and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create deposits."
-----------------------
It seems to me Government did not need to do much to dumb down the inhabitants. They seem to have taken to dumb like a fish to water. Maybe only the dumb were allowed in as immigrants after a certain date. Be that as it may be, I am convinced that
if Banks had the power to create deposits taken away, the dumb population would demand it be given back to them
if taxes were paid by a Tax Redemption Fund, the dumb population would insist on being presented with a tax bill
if honest money were restored, the dumb population would require the return of dishonest depreciating paper.
It is dumb to be ignorant, but the vast majority seems to prefer themselves in that condition. What is different from the past is that so many of those capable of more seem unable to lead in the general interest, which inevitably includes their own, and prefer to emulate the dumber.
Aye er eh?
