Nope.
Really don't pay any attention to the guy.
Only ever mentioned him because of the topic we were discussing at the time.
And, while I'm sure the "rumours" of his having denounced tithing are more than likely true...
I have no doubt that he'll be pushing his congregrants for "Free Will" offerings.
Like I said in that tongue-in-cheek post over at John/Julian's board...

You really haven't thought about the scam aspect of all of this, have you?
Look at Benny Hinn...
He doesn't depend on "tithes".
Alllll of his money comes from...

The more likely it is that "God" will "Bless" you.
(You DO want God's "blessing"... Don't you?)
This "announcement" doesn't change the man...

If you told me that he had sold everything and...
He was living on Skid-Row "ministering" to the poor...?
It would take some time before I was convinced that...
He wasn't just setting up some sort of scam.
The man is a Con-Artist.
Plain and simple.
Sad to say but...
There really are people like that in this world.
The only burden that people like Peter are interested in lifting off of anyone...
Is the weight being carried in their wallets.
You say you haven't been attending his "church" in awhile...?
Well, whatever the "whys" or "wherefores"...
