Just talking in general terms based on your posting above, regarding the TV Evangelists of the age.
As for PPY, all I know is the folks left when he started to preach freedom in Christ that tithing was not of the New Covenant.
Hope you didn't get too much of a dumping of snow, we have been having fun... we had the roof done in the summer, the neighbor came over freaking out last night cause he had water running down his basement wall and figures it just has to be coming from the roof!
Problem is, we are dry and we can't find any problems, like missing shingles or such... not fun!
Oh the joys of winter in Canada eh? lol!
