religious history buff.
I am looking for information and the reference to show that "War Spoils" or "Booty Tithes" were a custom before Abram gave it to Melchizedek in Gen 14.
I have found a number of opinions but, need something a little more solid, like a book title, chapter, page etc... reference.
I know that Melchizedek was of the Canaanite family of religious practices but, can't seem to find the war side of it.
