This part then... Or, are you looking for a "specific" reference to the practice (prior to Abraham)... That you can quote from some sort of "History" book...? Right...? Okay, like I said... Never been a big fan of "War" or the practices pertaining to it but... I'll look around and see if I can dig anything up for you. -PRev1-
