I think we all mellow with age...and hopefully we get wiser, too. I don't have as much energy as I once did, but I'm a lot more patient in many ways.
I'm going to Disneyland -- yay! It's my happy place. This Christmas is very hard because my sister died of lung cancer in January. This is my first Christmas without her, and I miss her terribly. We grew up in Los Angeles, and I have very fond memories of Disneyland; it's a place we both loved very much, so I'm hoping the Disney magic will work and will help get me in the Christmas spirit. I got some toys and food for the holiday charity collections here at work and brought them in today, and I think that helped me a lot.
So, I'll be gone for a few days, then come drag my soapbox out again, and continue my saga, if you'll still have me. Didn't know it was going to turn into the Prose Edda, did you PRev?
