Yep, that's one of those passages I chalk up to Paul being in a cranky mood that day. And it completely contradicts the passage that says there is no more Jew nor Greek, male nor female, slave nor free, we are all one in Christ Jesus.
I don't think Paul liked women very much -- in fact, I have my own theories about Paul =) I suspect Paul didn't like girls at all.
