The "Ten Cities" were divvied up and re-classified under Emperor Trajan as part of different Roman provinces, Syria, Palestina, Secunda and... Arabia.

The term "Decapolis" fell out of use after the emperor Trajan added the province of Arabia to the Roman Empire in the second century AD.

After the dissolution of the Nabataean Kingdom by Trajan (106 CE), the Decapolis region was included in Provincia Arabia, a new province that more or less extended over the former kingdom of the Nabataeans.
So, while Aretas IV was the Arabian/Nabatean King at the time of Paul's Damascus Adventure...
