Hi Misty- I'm in another animial group and I saw the help post. I never raised and sold puppies but a real close friend did. He never got involved and close to any of his puppies and when they went to thier new home they were fine. I have one of his puppies and he made a perfect adjustment and when I moved to the town he lived in 1 1/2 years later my dog when right back with his mother and father and was ok. I think the new owner should just wait and he'll join in - do not go there, if he see you he will want to be with you. He has made an attachment to you!!!!! How this helps. Kay
