Posted by Matt Recently there have been 3 Rock Bands you DO NOT open for and most manager know this but do not stick to this rule: Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers and LIVE. But promoters keep killing the Headliners by letting these 3 bands play first. It is great for LIVE to be out there supporting a HUGE act like Nickleback!!! I hope bands like these can start a resurgance for ALTERNATIVE MUSIC AGAIN!!!! Hopefully starting a downfall for this "EMO" death "Screamo" thing going on. I cant wait to see what happens in the future for LIVE!!!!!!!!

I have been in the Music Biz for years playing, recording and touring. And there are many bands you dont want to follow at a concert for the shear fact that you will be upstaged by the first act: Rush opened for Black Sabbath in the late 70's starting a downward spiral for Sabbath. Van Halen opened for Aerosmith in the early 80's marking the end of Aerosmith (for a while). I Love Nickleback, but I hope LIVE didnt kill Nicklbacks career. Uh-Oh!!!!
