Hi Sarge, Sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure about the octave pedal for the song (you can always send Pat a question for my Ask Pat page by the way and ask him himself . I admit I haven't listened to the song in ages (don't have the CD on me ..oh well), but I remember transcribing the song sometime ago and I was playing it high up on the neck, so I don't know.
