Greetings, wandering internet traveler and welcome to tonight's broadcast "Anyone for Dumb Posts?" This will be our last program for a while, whether that is fortunate or unfortunate is entirely up to you (Although I doubt anyone will reply. I'm only doing this for myself, not for the random ones that wander onto this site. Hell, I don't even own it...)
Tonight's post is rather basic, compared to all of the flashy futuristic and Sci-Fi oriented "broadcasts" that I have been throwing onto this inactive site. A spontaneous reality check, before I relaunch this website back into the ionosphere and beyond. As this will be my so-called "last" post, it's guaranteed to inform, entertain and above all, not disappoint! So sit back, quit rolling your eyes and let the posting commence!
You know the story, the whole idiotic song and dance, what I have been preaching about post after post, is is really and truly that important to copy exactly whatever your friends are into at the moment? Trends crumble to dust in the end, they are superficial and artificial in nature and their intention is snatch away our identities, and they seem to be working. Quit worrying about gaining public approval and achieving the ultra-coveted status of "popularity" and stand up for what you believe in, even if you stand alone. It's never too late, maybe someday you'll understand...
I almost decided to post information about the decline of the music industry and how the prospect of fame and fortune can affect "certain" bands and the consequences of becoming fake and generic just to appeal to the masses. Then I figured that perhaps I was being overly heartless and judgmental, and that I should give "certain" bands another shot (Very glad I did, let's just leave the "dead" criticisms to the vultures in my brain, shall we?)
When I return, I will be reviewing the latest CD by Powerman 5000, "Destroy What You Enjoy"! At first glance, it appears that they are trying too hard to have a raw and original sound and then after I listened to the CD several times, I was hooked (Hey I'm only human!) It's actually one of their best CDs, at least in my opinion.
Due to Technical Difficulties (and the number of pissed off robots standing outside carrying ray-guns) "Station K.A.T." will not be airing for about a week.
