Since I just returned from my short excursion I will be posting the revised edition of my last post (the so-called "season finale") It's much better than the original, at least in my opinion (it's not as if anyone is actually replying) I will be continuing to post until I either create my own website or I'm kicked off of this inactive site. Until then...thank you to those who stumble across this site and actually read my posts YOU GUYS ROCK!!! And to those who have no idea what I'm doing with your precious site YOUR IGNORANCE ROCKS!!!! Hold on to your hats, kids, and let the season finale (and the dumb robotic persona) begin!!!
Greetings, loyal internet travelers and thank you for tuning into tonight's program and our season finale. It's the bizarre oddity of our time, it's the supreme excitement of our era! It's ultra-mega, it's super-sonic, it's ultra-cybertronic!!!
Tonight our newest robotic addition will interviewing our host on the subject of Powerman 5000, among other topics before her brain is eradicated!!! This explosive interview will be followed by even more commentary by fellow PM5K fans, and an overview of our next broadcast. Are you ready, because we're ready so let the interviewing and the prompt annihilating begin!!!
Q: Tell us, Khaos (Kat) why do you continue to post on this desolate and inactive site, is there is any ulterior motive?
Why do I continue?? Well, the official Powerman 5000 site will not let me register and the administrator still has not replied to my email (how rude!!!) Then I found this site and my first post was a complaint on this whole matter. No one replied and that's when it hit me, this site is inactive. It started out as a joke, a mockery of this website but somehow it turned into these regular "broadcasts" I figured there would be other fanatics wandering around on the internet that would stumble across this site. Besides, there have been vile porn flicks floating around on the official site and I don't to be a member if it becomes banned.
Q: Any commentary on the official website, itself?
Here's a random and spontaneous reality check; my website can kick their website's ass any day of the week and twice on Tuesday. It's me against hundreds in the PM5K army (come on, we all know I'd win for sure!!) Although I must say, thanks for the rare downloads, I appreciate them.
Q: When did you become a fan of Powerman 5000?
Long and bizarre story, actually. I was on youtube.com looking up songs to record and there was a tribute to my favorite television show with the audio track "When World's Collide" It had an interesting title and the band name cracked me up so I listened to the song and was blasted away (get it, "Blast Off to Nowhere" Alright fine, stupid joke) I made a mental note to check them out later. To shorten my ramblings, I was instantly addicted (and my brain was permanently corrupted.)
Q: Any favorite songs?
Oh wow, that's a difficult question. Can I just say that I love them all, it would be so much simpler...? My favorites include When World's Collide (Demo version) Nobody's Real, Automatic, Operate Annihilate, Supernova Goes Pop (Used to detest that song) Danger is Go! Tomorrow is Yesterday (all-time favorite) The One and Only, Wake Up! Megatronic, The End is Over, Get On Get Off, Relax, City Lights, A is For Apathy, That's Entertainment, Army of Me, What If, the list drags on and on and (and did I mention, on?)
Q: Your favorite album is...?
It's a clash between "Tonight! The Stars Revolt", "Anyone for Doomsday" and "Transform" Hell, I can't decide (pathetic, isn't it?) I like their futuristic albums because I'm a huge techno and Science-Fiction freak but I like the newer CDs because they have a realistic, raw sound that's impossible to reproduce.
End of Part One
