Posted by Krissy THANK YOU to all the alumni who attended the reunion this year - it was terrific to see some familiar faces and meet even more new ones! On behalf of the Club, I hope you all had a great time. THANK YOU as well to all the folks who helped make this happen: from the rowdy gang who planted the idea back in 2001, to the crew who helped assemble & send out the newsletter, to Kathie & Austin for heading up "Day 2" by doing committee boat & hosting the cookout, and especially to the fellas who helped with set up & clean up for the party - Luke, Keegan, Vic & others. This was the third reunion, and (while there are admittedly still kinks to be worked out) every single one has been a blast. Of course, I'm totally biased. We plan to follow up in some form or another to request feedback from alumni on how to make this event better. This raises an issue: who to ask? The guestbook was not circulated as it should have been, and so I'll have to send a lame "um, hi - were you at the reunion?" message. Ah, well. LASTLY - and personally very important - if the folks who did attend & had cameras would like to share the many, many pictures taken, that would be fabulous. Depending on quantity and/or file size, they can either be emailed to krisstar@earthlink.net OR burned to CD & mailed to me at 3502 South Illinois Ave, Carbondale IL 62903 Thanks again, everybody. I find it awfully funny that I can't get to sleep - considering how positively *exhausted* I am! So... to avoid putting it off, I'll just get some of this down right away:
