I recall that my mother played the organ at St Martin's Church, Ruislip for the funeral service of Peter Fitzgibbon (his ashes are in the churchyard there) in the summer of 1987. Maybe the Association wound down from there. I have a particular reason to recall that, as I think it was the last time my mother played the organ at the church, although she lived on until aged 87 in 1999. I was pleased that she undertook that and it is odd that the two plots at St Martin's are almost next to each other.
