I have sent you a separate email but this is to report that I am already visiting the archive in Uxbridge Public Library, so far consulting the North West Middlesex Executive Minutes for the early Fifties. This will be quite a lengthy process but I am unearthing some interesting material about the planning for the school. I think this will lead me, in one direction to Middx County Council Minutes and in the other to Hillingdon Borough Education Committee Minutes. When I reach that far I may find myself implicated, as I served for a few years on the Joint Consultative Committee for Education in the Borough as a representative of the Joint Four ie Head Masters, Head Mistresses, Assistant Masters, Assistant Mistresses.
