Posted by STEVE JOHNSON There was a real b*gger of a tech problem in that I bought a videocan that was out of date as soon as it was released and (think Betamax) and everybody else went in a different direction. The issue was finding the software that could download the video fast enough to a Mac. My output cable from the videcam although it fits the Mac should have been Firewire to allow high speed data transfers. It was not. Panasonic expected everybody to be on clapped out laptops where half an hour to download a video was the norm. How wrong they were. I will prepare a couple of short avi files first and mail them to the chaps. BTW has Richard Gibson abandoned updating this site?

Yes well Andy. I have the ram disks, the Apple Mac and now that I am in KL, the time. So expect it all to be DVD'd soon.
