Another sad passing .. although I was never taught by him, you (John) make a good point regarding his gentle eccentricity. I recall the bicycle, the National Health horn rimmed specs, his interesting manner of speech. I believe he was an Oxbridge graduate and frighteningly bright in an understated way. I also was involved in cross country activities with him, though sadly only as a marker, posted to some remote location deep in Haste Hill woods on a dark wet Saturday. I think I did the All England if anyone remembers that race .. 1974 ?? Goodbye Mr Kraushaar, your ancedotes live on .. so let's hear some you SNOBS !
