I had forgotten but now it all comes flooding back! I was rather taken by Flanders and Swann but not so by Johnny Dankworth. I never did get into Jazz. Come to think of it, many of my early musical tastes must have been formed in his lessons. I still find myself humming bits of 'Pictures at an Exhibition' or 'William Tell Overture'or even songs like 'Jamaica Farewell'. The power they wielded!
