I realise this is probably a 'dead' question now but the correct answer is 'Remove'. It refers to the fact that if you were allocated to this eminence you were 'removed' from the main bunch of fifth formers while doing fifth form work to build up your O level account. It's an old-fashioned title taken over from the old Public Schools. I doubt if modern Independant Schools still use it.
