Posted by Steve Johnson I think the school day was split into seven periods, three before morning break, two before lunch then two after lunch and home at 3.30pm. The horror of triple Maths in the Sixth Form ! Is it true we were let out before Potter Street to avoid bus/tube fights ?

Anyone got a school timetable from the 70s? What was the late period on Mondays all about? I hated being stuck in class after 3.30pm on Mondays with The Beak studying English Grammar .. it seemed .. so late. (Says he who finishes work regularly after 7pm these days).
