Posted by Roderick Johnson I enjoyed his lessons, even if I never quite understood the aims of some of the experiments! I remember the iron filings, but I also remember the cart zooming down a "frictionless slope" towing a tickertape (all very Scrapheap Challenge) and the wave tanks. Weirdly enough, those wave tanks and a velcro memory (picks up fluff but nothing of real value) are still useful to me in my profession today. Does this mean I've been Educated? If I have, it's because of inspirational teachers like George Easom and not because of any paticular aptitude on my part.
