i really wish i'd known about this. very sad news. in my time (contmporary with nige newton, robfred, steve johnson) he was known as "oddy" kraushaar and famous for his printed banda sheets. they worked, though -- got me into cambridge to read french (to oddy's old college, jesus, in fact; i had no idea which one to apply to and he said i might as well try his). i was also a rather poor member of his cross country team. so i spent a lot of time in his ocmpany, one way and another. much saddened to hear of his passing.
