Board Administrator
Dear Fellow SNOBs
You will have noticed that the only part of the site that has remained up-to-date is the message board and that is because I have largely had nothing to do with it.
I apologise to you all that I have not been able to maintain a more dynamic site but my work commitments have taken control.
The existing site structure does not lend itself to easy maintenance and I would like to migrate to something which allows content editors (ie. people such as Steve Johnson and John Hawley) to contribute content to a stable and flexible structure which they don't have to worry about.
I don't have time to to do this and so am asking if there are any web developers amongst you who have experience of content management systems (something like Drupal, Joomla etc) or asp/LAMP skills who would be willing to put a new site together? This would be an unpaid activity and I would assist with migrating the existing content.
I also own the domain www.snobs.org.uk and would willingly pick up the cost of hosting the site.
Please email me at rix@freeuk.com if you are able to help.
Thanks to all of you for your contributions
Richard
