He would be about 60, but don't assume that teachers can afford to retire at 60; many can't because the pension provision is 1/80th final salary for every years served. 40 years for half-pension (admittedly subsequently indexed). Only police and some others can afford retirment at 50 plus!
Andy Kerr left Haydon in 1984 and rumoured to have been a Senior Teacher or Deputy in Beds.
