Posted by John Hawley I am afraid the "parents" are without an apostrophe! There are now plans for it to be presented to the SNOBS RFC at their function on 1st October 2005 at the Cricket Club in West Ruislip (Oak Avenue). Watch this space for news about the stained glass window shield too, as a request has been made by me to Mr P Woods (Head of Haydon School) to release it also for presentation. There was a request for the wording on the plaque some time ago.
The plaque reads:
"The JUNIOR COMMON ROOM
Donated By The St Nicholas
Grammar School Parents Association
Opened By RICHARD SHARP
British Lion & England Rugby International
6th JULY 1963."
