In the final analysis, it will work if there is a demand and a few of you who will get together to organise something. Once a tradition and routine is built, it will be easier. In talking and emailing with Gerald a number of times along the way, it seems that most of the problems attach(ed)to people showing interest, but not closing the deal in the necessary way, even if cheques were not to be cashed until the event was firmly on the statute book, so to speak. I am sure that there are ways of limiting the downside problems and those willing to come forward might well cull some of Gerald's experience and advice. I am sure that he will be more than willing to share.

That is it exactly David; as Delia Smith put it so delicately at that Norwich City match last season, "Let's be 'avin yew (sic)." Come on Old Boys, it's your old school and your "association" (I have deliberatley not capitalised the first letter), not we old masters; even though some of us will gladly support in whatever way possible.
