I have to announce another delay for Peter David's second She-Hulk issue, but it's not because the book is late. My local comic book store told me that because of (American) Thanksgiving, new comics will be arriving on (Black) Friday instead of Wednesday. I am assuming this will be happening thoughout the U.S., so I changed the release date in the "counter" of this message board.
Hopefully Dermie and other Canadians will accept this apology. If it turns out they receive She-Hulk #23 on Wednesday, it's really not a big deal that the "counter" won't apply to them. But if their comic books arrive two days later because of a holiday they do not observe, they have good reason to be annoyed. And also, how long must the American dollar continue to be weaker than the loonie before Marvel adjusts the prices? There is no reason why Canadian comic book fans should pay more than we Yanks. If anything, they should get a DISCOUNT because of the currency difference.
