Hey, overall, I liked Dan's run a lot (not always, though).
I thought his first 12 issues were excellent, and his second run lost some steam. There were some underwhelming issues (#20 springs to mind).
I am very glad PAD came onboard... his first issue also kicks major behind (yeah, I love the action packed stories).
So far, I am happy.
Thing is even if I disliked Dan as a writer, I wouldn't be so bitter and jump from board to board bashing him and destroying his work as some of his nay-sayers do.
Too much hatred;-).
Anyways, Dan's gone from Shulkie's book, so no reason to bash his work as a way to compliment PAD's.
Just celebrate that PAD is onboard, folks. Forget about that Dan's run, if you so much dislike it.
Of course there will be people who prefer Dan's and people who will prefer PAD's work. I am glad I can enjoy both.
Toodles,
