Have to disagree. The first time they fought, Thing REFUSED to fight her, just because she was a woman. She didn't win, as she was helped by Sandman.
They engaged in a test of strength and he was winning. So, she cheated and left.
When they fought the second time, Thing had a broken arm and they stalemated. Hardly a victory.
In another issue, he GAVE UP to let her win.
Thing always seemed stronger than she.

: Actually Thundra is rather under rated for
: whatever reason. She beats the ever living
: crap out of the thing every time she fights
: him and to say that a light weight can do
: that is like calling a tornado a slight
: breeze :S

: That doesn't really make sense, when you
: compare whatever versions of Thor were very
: high end. A female Thor analogue in pigtails
: should be at least She-Hulk strength, and
: since she has a grasp of battle and conflict
: going back centuries, why make her only
: Class 30?
:
: Thundra I can understand since she is a
: slightly enhanced human, but it makes little
: sense for Valkyrie NOT be at least She-Hulk
: level...
