The Wolverine thing is ridiculous. He's the Jack Bauer of the Marvel universe! If you put all his monthly comic book appearences into chronological order it becomes clear that this guy must have to micro-manage his life down to the tiniest detail:
Friday 27th March:
0900: Have bowel movement, join the cast of X-Force
1000: Appear in flashback sequence for New Avengers
1030: Drop in on my eponymous solo title. Try to remember what the hell it was I was supposed to be doing.
1130 First opportunity to take a leak since Wolverine: Origins issue 30.
1132: Which reminds me-- need to check back in on what's happening in Wolverine:Origins.
1210: Haul ass to San Francisco in order to teach class in one of the 16 X Men titles I appear in.
1300: Back to New York for another pointless brawl with the Hood and his minions in New Avengers.
1400: Shit-- almost forgot my guest appearence in Amazing Spider Man
1436: And my appearence in Deadpool...
1500: Ready to launch my newest title: Wolverine:Weapon X.
1600: Late lunch/Early supper with Joe Q to discuss plans for Wolverine Annual, The Wolverine Babies, The Wolverine Cookery Book...
1640: tired....so very...tired...

: Hate to break it to you old chap, Marvel is a
: business and when Joe Q isn't going batshit
: crazy and alienating the entire world with
: his idiotic continuity ####s, they're driven
: by a profit.
:
: This sadly means Spiderman and Wolverine
: will appear in over a dozen comics each a
: month and She-Hulk will probably be lucky to
: make that in a year... but don't blame a
: company for trying to make money, blame
: fanboys for throwing their money at anything
: Wolverine related.
