Jen was getting some heavy play though in Hulk even to the point of the book being split into 2 stories. One focusing on Jen and the Lady Liberators. I just wish Marvel would've given Jen some more time. This was her most critically acclaimed series, it had some longevity to it (really, counting the annual it ended only 9 issues short of Sensational)and I think these things should've gone into consideration.
Why couldn't a change in direction been tried before cancelation ? Yeah, I know---it changed direction with PAD (I loved his run as much as I loved Slott's) but if they thought that direction was not working why not try another route first. PAD's direction made logical sense. I think it was the right way to go but I would've been open to a change from that if it would've meant the book could stick around longer.
Maybe I'm being naive and I can't expect them to try that hard for She-Hulk. But I wish they would. I think she has potential to be their ongoing solo heroine but that potential never quite gets the chance to be reached.
I still don't like Lyra being called She-Hulk and I would like her to be called something else. The story is solid enough but I am nowhere near as interested in reading about her as I am reading about Jen.

: She-Red Hulk is just having very poor sales,
: in spite of being a Dark Reign tie-in and of
: all the hype.
:
: Yet, Marvel is pushing her in ways that
: never happened to Jen.
:
: Yeah, now, She-Red Hulk (Lyra) is sharing a
: book with Red Hulk, so readers can pick up
: interest in the character.
:
: Can you people understand this?
:
: I can't. This is a bit too much for me.
:
: If Jen had got a push like this, maybe, her
: book might have survived.
